- [BUG FIX] InterMapper server can now be controlled from InterMapper Control Center on MacOS 10.9, Mavericks. (RT 124123, RT 124069)
- [BUG FIX] If set to SNMPv3, the default SNMP settings are now being used for automatic probes. (RT 120920)
Publisher review:InterMapper is a cross-platform application which provides a graphical view of a network and tests the routers, servers, workstations, and other equipment attached to that network using pings, SNMP, and various server probes.
In other words, InterMapper is a network monitoring and alerting program. It provides an early-warning system that alerts an administrator to problems with their network servers and IP and AppleTalk networks.
The InterMapper software consists of two pieces: a set of servers that run invisibly in the background and a client application named InterMapper.
Moreover, InterMapper is the only network analyzer program that runs on MacOS computers. Schools, media companies, advertising agencies, the publishing industry, all rely on InterMapper for network analysis on their chosen platform.
